日本での就職
卒業・修了後に日本での就職を希望する留学生は増加傾向にあり，留学生の採用を積極的に行う企業が増えてきています。しかし，日本における就職活動は複雑です。一般的に日本における就職活動は、卒業の約一年前から始まります。自分の希望する仕事に就くには、事前に準備を行うことが大切です。留学生にとっては、高い日本語能力を求められ，修士論文の執筆の時期とも重なることから大変な場面もあることと思います。

本学での入学式後に留学生ガイダンスが行われます。その際に"TUT Career support desk for international students"の案内があります。Google classroomより就職セミナー，インターンシップ，就職活動支援企業の情報が掲載されます。

Job hunting in Japan
Recently more international students are willing to work in Japan after graduation. With the rapid progress in globalization, businesses are actively hiring more and more international students. But a job-hunting process in Japan is very complicated. Normally, it starts about one year before graduation. To land on a job you want, it is crucial that you understand the processes and be well prepared before starting your job-hunt. International students might struggle due to the language barrier (you should bear in mind that most companies emphasize the Japanese language skills.) or overlap between the thesis writing period and job-hunting period.

International student guidance will be held after the entrance ceremony. You will be informed about "TUT Career support desk for international students" at the guidance. After you are enrolled in TUT, you can join Google classroom. With the google classroom you can get more information such as job seminars, company briefing sessions and internship opportunities.

It is a great opportunity for international students to join an internship to have a glimpse of what it is like to work for a Japanese company.
